As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Tablet Reporting in El Segundo, CA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a healthcare location, you will conduct routine patrols, monitor assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support access control activities. You will provide exceptional customer service and clear communication to patients, visitors, and staff while documenting security-related observations. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients and site personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities in a healthcare and biopharmaceutical location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols and reporting requirements.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, grounds, access points, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access to restricted areas, verify credentials as required, and assist with visitor and contractor entry procedures in accordance with site policies.
• Document patrol activities, incidents, observations, and policy violations accurately and promptly, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
