Forklift Operator

Bordentown, NJ, US About the Role: As a Forklift Operator, your main responsibility will be to safely and efficiently operate a forklift to move and stack materials in a warehouse or distribution center. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth flow of goods and materials throughout the facility, contributing to the overall success of the organization. Minimum Qualifications: Valid forklift operator certification Proven experience operating a forklift in a warehouse or distribution center setting Ability to safely lift and move heavy objects Knowledge of RF scan guns and warehouse management systems (WMS) Familiarity with pallet jacks and other material handling equipment Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions Preferred Qualifications: Experience with distribution center operations Knowledge of order picking processes and procedures Ability to perform basic maintenance on forklifts and other equipment Experience with inventory management systems Strong communication and teamwork skills Responsibilities: Operate a forklift to load, unload, and move materials within the warehouse or distribution center Stack and organize products in designated areas to maximize storage space Perform cycle counting to ensure accurate inventory levels and reconcile any discrepancies Pick and pack orders according to customer specifications, ensuring accuracy and timeliness Adhere to safety guidelines and protocols to prevent accidents and maintain a safe work environment Skills: In this role, your skills in operating a forklift, using RF scan guns, and working with warehouse management systems (WMS) will be crucial. You will use your expertise to safely and efficiently move materials, stack products, and perform cycle counting. Your ability to operate pallet jacks and other material handling equipment will contribute to the smooth flow of goods within the facility.
