Transport Refrigeration (Reefer) Technician - Colton, CA

Transport Refrigeration Services, Inc. (TRS) is hiring a Transport Refrigeration Technician to service, diagnose, and repair refrigerated transport equipment and fleet vehicles in Colton, CA. Job Details: Location: Colton, CA 92324; Salary Range: $26.00 – $40.00 hourly; Shift: Any; Job Type: Full‑Time. Benefits Shift Differential: $2.00 per hour for 2nd & 3rd shifts. Responsibilities Repair minor and major issues of refrigeration units and diagnose problems. Use OEM software to diagnose issues, read codes, clear codes, and download data. Read refrigerant unit wiring diagrams and schematics. Use a multimeter to perform electrical diagnostics. Program microprocessor. Properly use reclaiming machine to recover and recycle refrigerant. Proficient in soldering all types of joints and tubes. Service truck systems—including cooling, fuel, drive train, brakes, and suspension. Perform PMs and DOT inspections on trucks and trailers. Repair ABS systems, APU units, and trailer structures. Provide roadside service, tire repairs, and equipment cleaning. Operate company and customer vehicles, forklifts, hoists, and tools. Maintain accurate repair times and a clean workspace. Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned. Requirements High school diploma or equivalent. Valid driver’s license. Ability to obtain and use a toolbox and required tools. Strong understanding of electrical, mechanical, and refrigerant systems.
