ABOUT US

At Home Instead in Shrewsbury NJ, we help seniors across Monmouth County live independently, at home, with dignity and compassion. Our free program provides step-by-step guidance to obtain your CHHA license, with the goal of having you join our team as a caregiver. 

TRAINING PROGRAM REQUIREMENTS 

• 21 years or older 

• Resides in Monmouth or Ocean County, NJ 

• NJ driver’s license and reliable vehicle

CHHA DUTIES

• Companionship and conversation 

• Light housekeeping, meal prep, assist with eating 

• Medication and appointment reminders 

• Assistance with grooming, bathing, dressing, and toileting 

• Alzheimer’s care

SHIFTS AVAILABLE 

• Mornings, afternoons, evenings, overnights 

• Live-in care 

• Weekdays and weekends

• AFTER TRAINING IS COMPELTE, CHHAs ARE REQUIRED TO HAVE: 

• Criminal background check, DMV check, and drug screen

• A current physical (within the past 365 days)

• Tuberculosis screening test

• Proof of MMR immunity
