Clinical Nurse - Medical Oncology

Role Provides direct patient care for oncology patients in a high-acuity, 32-bed unit, serving both Bone Marrow Transplant (BMT) and Oncology services. Responsibilities Assess, diagnose, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care within established nursing standards. Promote patient and family-centered care, including education on illness management and medication administration. Participate in activities ensuring patient safety, quality, and regulatory compliance. Develop and document individualized care plans collaboratively with the healthcare team, patients, and caregivers. Evaluate physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs, considering patient preferences, cultural, and spiritual factors. Engage in professional development and continuous learning. Support a healing environment through effective communication and teamwork. Qualifications & Skills Required: Nursing Diploma or Associate's Degree in Nursing, RN license, and no prior experience. Preferred: Bachelor's Degree in Nursing, less than two years of experience. Strong assessment, critical thinking, communication, and patient education skills. Ability to work safely in a high-alert environment.
