Providence also offers convenient access to Boston, Cape Cod and Newport by car or train, making weekend getaways simple and appealing.Within this Level 1 Trauma Center, the radiology department supports a full spectrum of emergency and inpatient care, including complex trauma, stroke, cardiac, orthopedic, and neurosurgical cases. You will be part of a team that values clinical excellence, continuous learning, and collaboration. The environment is fast-paced but supportive, with a strong focus on patient safety, communication, and teamwork.As a Radiologic Technologist, your typical day will involve performing diagnostic X-ray imaging for emergency department patients, trauma activations, inpatients and surgical cases. Responsibilities include completing portable radiography in the emergency department, intensive care units and patient floors, supporting imaging in the operating room for orthopedic and other surgical procedures, and performing routine and urgent imaging in designated radiology suites. You will be expected to prioritize STAT and trauma cases, work closely with providers to clarify orders, and ensure timely completion and transmission of images for interpretation.

Required Qualifications

Certified Radiology Technologist, Radiology Certifications: CERT-ARRT- R Hospital experience, more specifically Level 1 Trauma Hospital Experience

Preferred Qualifications

Level 1 Trauma Center (mixture of Philips Carestream and GE for xray equipment, Portables, and C-Arms), BLS LICENSE REQUIRED: State of Rhode Island and ARRT Hospital experience, more specifically Level 1 Trauma Hospital Experience
