Our client will only consider candidates based in California. This is a 4‑6 month contract opportunity. Pay: $45‑52/hr The qualified candidate will have strong labor law knowledge with a least four years’ experience as a Human Resources Business Partner.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Serve as a consultant to management on human resources related issues. Update handbook and employee policy. Responsible for employee investigations and employee relations. Help leaders maintain employee morale, increase productivity and retention. Provide employee relations support and clarify employment laws and policies. Assist with immigration related paperwork.QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business or related preferred. Minimum 5 years progressive Human Resources experience. PHR or SPHR preferred. Knowledge of Federal and CA state employment laws. Excellent consulting skills/ability to prioritize. Understanding of immigration related documentation.
