Physical Therapist – 1:1 Hour-Long Sessions, Cash-Based | New Grads Welcome

Tired of 40–60 sessions a week, double-booked patients, and notes written for insurance companies?

At PhysioRX, you’ll see 17–20 clients a week, one at a time, for a full hour, with paid time built in to write their rehab and fitness programming.

PhysioRX is a PT-owned, 100% cash-based practice that blends physical therapy and fitness. We’re growing, and we’re looking for a PT who wants to be both clinician and coach, and wants a team that will invest in getting them there.

What the job looks like:

• 17–20 one-on-one, 60-minute sessions per week, plus paid programming time
• We fill your schedule and handle all the marketing, so you can focus on your clients
• No insurance notes, no heat, ice, or e-stim, no gimmicks
• Every client gets both rehab and fitness programming from you through the PhysioRX app
• A gym-style setting with real strength equipment, not a sterile medical office, at our Manhattan and Brooklyn locations

Mentorship that’s actually real:

Most companies promise mentorship and don’t deliver. Here’s ours:

• Twice-weekly meetings for new team members on clinical decision-making and programming
• A designated 1:1 mentor for your entire first year
• Monday team meetings for case discussions and presentations
• A team holding OCS, SCS, CSCS, powerlifting coaching, and run coaching credentials
• Your Clinical Athlete Certification mentorship, fully paid (we’re one of the first Certified Clinical Athlete Provider companies)

Who you’ll work with:

Post-op ACLs, nagging gym injuries, and people with no injury at all who want an evidence-informed approach to training: barbell athletes, runners, cyclists, competitive athletes, weekend warriors, and busy people who want to stay active.

Who we’re looking for:

New grads and PTs 1–2 years in who are ready to leave the mill. Experienced PTs are welcome too. You're a good fit if you:

• Workout yourself and feel at home in a gym
• Want to get clients out of pain and coach them toward their health and fitness goals
• Are hungry to learn. You don’t need to be an expert lifting coach on day one; that’s what the mentorship is for.

Our mission is to change the public perception of physical therapy and create great jobs for PTs who know they have more to offer.

Pay and benefits:

• $85,000–$110,000 per year
