Responsibilities
- Provide respiratory care to acutely ill patients per physician orders, including ventilator management and monitoring patient response.

- Collect and analyze arterial blood gases as assigned; document results and communicate findings to the care team.
- Monitor ventilator devices and alarms; adjust settings within scope of practice under direction of the treating team.
- Document care, interventions, and patient progress; collaborate with nurses, physicians, and therapists to optimize outcomes.
- Floats to any unit within scope as needed; participate in staffing coverage and weekend rotations as assigned.

Requirements
- Active Michigan license as a Respiratory Therapist (RRT) in good standing.
- Certifications: BLS (AHA), ACLS (AHA), NRP.
- Experience: Minimum 2+ years of RRT experience required; travel experience preferred.
