Position Summary The role involves providing member service, maintaining checkout and entrance/exit areas, resolving member issues, promoting Sam's Club products and services, and supporting members with self‑service technology. The associate will process purchases, payments, returns, refunds, and exchanges according to company policies and provide safety and security support, including emergency responses. Responsibilities Provides member service, maintains checkout area, and resolves member issues and concerns. Promotes Sam's Club products and services and guides members regarding self‑service technology. Processes member purchases, assists with payments, returns, refunds, and exchanges according to company policies. Follows company safety standards, conducts safety sweeps, and reports unsafe situations to facility management. Maintains entrance and exit areas, acknowledges members, verifies membership cards, and identifies member needs. Assists members with purchasing decisions, locating merchandise, and transporting items. Maintains safe shopping environment and observes potential criminal activity, following security policies. Maintains paperwork, logs, and documentation; executes emergency response procedures. Assists with training of new associates on company processes and technology, delivers new programs rollout training, and provides continuous learning opportunities. Maintains area of responsibility in accordance with company policies, handles returns, zones the area, arranges and organizes merchandise, identifies shrink and damages. Complies with company policies, ethics, and Open Door Policy; implements action plans and executes business processes with integrity. Completes work assignments and priorities using policies, data, resources; collaborates with managers, co‑workers, customers, and business partners; identifies priorities and deadlines, communicates progress, and recommends improvements. Works as a team, builds relationships, and mentors others. Acts with integrity, maintains high standards, supports Walmart’s regenerative goals, and promotes a culture of belonging. Delivers results while putting customers and members first, makes decisions based on reliable information, and balances short‑ and long‑term priorities.
