Shift and Hours Shift: Nights Scheduled Hours: 36 License and Certification Virginia or Compact Multi‑State License in good standing Basic Life Support (BLS) within 90 days of hire Education RN‑Associate’s Degree RN‑Bachelor’s Degree RN‑Diploma RN‑Master’s Degree Responsibilities Assess and admit patients. Perform rounding checks. Administer medications. Communicate with family members. Manage overall patient care. Collaborate with multidisciplinary team for optimal care delivery. Emergency Department Overview Sentara CarePlex Hospital Emergency Department offers exceptional emergency care. The ED has 43 beds, including 11 fast‑track beds for patients with shorter lengths of stay, and board‑certified emergency physicians.
