Payment Posting Specialist

Vaco is hiring for Healthcare Payment Posting Specialist for a role in Miramar, FL. Summary The Payment Poster performs multiple responsibilities related to payment and adjustment for DME, IV and Health Home payors. This position promotes revenue integrity by ensuring timely and accurate posting of accounts and maintains posting per company guidelines. Key Duties Reconciles daily batch posting to actual entry in order to identify and reconcile any discrepancies Generating deposits and receipts in billing systems Brightree, Kinser, Caretend and Soneto. Posting ERN's and paper check payments/denials. Qualifications Minimum of one-year experience in medical billing service. Ability to communicate effectively and confidentially on all levels. Extensive knowledge of CPT and ICD.9 codes. Ability to interpret billing procedures and changes and assimilate information to computer. Flexibility and reliability. Skill in handling work detains. Ability to input information quickly and accurately. Ability to organize and reconcile data. Ability to apply written guidelines and work practices. Additional certifications and qualifications Experience in Medicare and Managed Care, Third Party payors, PIP, filing claims by electronic method, etc. Knowledge of governmental legal and regulatory provisions related to collection activities. Desired Skills and Experience Minimum of one-year experience in medical billing service. Ability to communicate effectively and confidentially on all levels.
