Job Summary:
This opportunity is for a Scrub Cardiovascular Operating Room Registered Nurse (CVOR RN) located in Albany, New York. The position involves assisting during vascular and cardiac procedures, with a focus on maintaining sterile techniques and patient safety. Candidates are required to bring their nursing license on the first day.

Job Details:

• Location: Albany, NY
• Schedule: 10-hour shifts (7:00 AM 5:00 PM), with on-call responsibilities (8-10 shifts per month, 4:00 PM 7:00 AM)
• Minimum Hours Per Week: 40 hours
• Required Qualifications: Previous scrub nurse experience in vascular and cardiac surgery; Certified Perioperative Nurse (CNOR) certification; proficiency in electronic health records (EHR); valid nursing license; no minimum years of experience specified
• Preferred Qualifications: Impeccable organization, time management, and critical-thinking skills
• Additional Information: Position requires on-call availability and includes duties such as assisting surgeons and interventional radiologists during procedures, preparing equipment, ensuring sterility, providing emotional support, monitoring vitals, documenting in EHR, and performing postoperative counts. The orientation is 100% billable.
