Janitor / Cleaner
Augusta, Maine
$20.00 per hour
We are seeking a dependable and hardworking Janitor/Cleaner to join our team in Augusta, Maine. This position is responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment throughout our property. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, self-motivated, and takes pride in their work.
Responsibilities:- Clean and maintain all common areas
- Vacuum carpets and keep floors clean and presentable
- Clean and sanitize restrooms
- Laundry duties as needed
- Clean windows and other interior surfaces
- Sweep, mop, and maintain various flooring types
- Prepare and clean apartment units for resident turnover
- Assist maintenance staff with various tasks as needed
- Monitor and maintain cleaning supply inventory
- Perform other general cleaning and property-related duties as assigned
- Previous janitorial or cleaning experience preferred, but not required
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- Attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness
- Ability to lift, carry, and move cleaning supplies and equipment
- Reliable transportation and strong attendance record
