Step into an impactful role supporting students’ communication needs in a collaborative educational setting. This full-time, contract opportunity spans the entire school year and focuses on delivering speech-language therapy to a diverse K-12 caseload near Bristol, CT. You’ll partner with teachers, families, and other professionals to help students develop vital skills for academic and social success.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
• Valid state licensure or eligibility for state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
• ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or CFY status considered
• Previous experience working with school-aged children preferred but not required
• Strong collaboration and communication abilities
• Ability to adapt therapy approaches to meet individual student needs

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct assessment and therapy services to K-12 students with varied communication challenges
• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Maintain accurate records and documentation in accordance with school and state guidelines
• Collaborate actively with teachers, school staff, and families to promote student success
• Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team conferences
• Engage in ongoing professional development to maintain licensure and stay current in the field
