Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) – Part-Time
Civita Care Center Cheshire | Cheshire, CT
$46–$50/hour | Part-Time

Post Rehab is hiring a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for a part-time opportunity at Civita Care Center Cheshire. Join a collaborative rehabilitation team while providing individualized care to residents with communication, cognitive, and swallowing needs.

What You'll Do

• Evaluate residents with speech, language, cognitive-communication, and swallowing disorders
• Develop individualized treatment plans based on resident needs and functional goals
• Provide skilled interventions addressing communication, cognition, and dysphagia
• Monitor progress and adjust treatment approaches as appropriate
• Educate residents, families, and caregivers on therapeutic strategies
• Maintain clear and timely clinical documentation
• Coordinate care with PT, OT, nursing, physicians, and other healthcare professionals

Qualifications

• Active Connecticut Speech-Language Pathologist license required
• Graduate degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
• Strong clinical, communication, and organizational skills
• Skilled nursing or post-acute experience preferred, but not required
