About the Position

Job Title: Telemetry Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Telemetry Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Day 3x12-Hour Hours per Shift: 12 Hours Experience: 3+ Years of RN Telemetry Experience License: Valid State RN License Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, CPI Must-Have: - 3+ years of telemetry nursing experience - 6 months of travel experience - Flexibility to float to other units within the scope of practice Description: Telemetry Registered Nurse needed for day shift. Responsible for providing care to adult and geriatric patients in a telemetry setting. Must be skilled in cardiac telemetry and management of diverse patient diagnoses. Experience in high-acuity care and the ability to interpret dysrhythmias is required. Candidate should be able to manage cardiac drips and vasoactive drips without titration. Proficient in caring for patients with conditions such as seizure disorders and renal failure. Involvement with interdisciplinary teams including physical therapy, pharmacy, and social services. Must have knowledge of isolation precautions and personal protective equipment (PPE). Availability for weekend coverage is required and may involve floating to different units. Additional responsibilities include blood product administration and central line care. Candidate must be able to perform phlebotomy and manage various types of lines and devices. Strong communication and teamwork skills are essential for this role. Travelers are expected to be adaptable and ready for potential last-minute changes in the schedule.
