Job Summary:
Operating Room Open Heart (OR OH) Nurse position located in Falls Church, Virginia. This role involves scrubbing and circulating in complex cardiac, thoracic, and vascular cases, including procedures such as coronary artery bypass, aortic aneurysms, valve replacements, TAVR, ECMO, and VADs. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day and must have 3 to 5 years of recent scrub and circulating experience in these specialized procedures.

Job Details:

• Location: Falls Church, Virginia
• Schedule: 8-hour shifts, primarily from 6:00 am to 2:30 pm, with an expectation of 40 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Current BLS (must be AHA) certification, 3 to 5 years of recent scrub and circulating nurse experience in complex cardiac, thoracic, and vascular cases. CNOR certification is preferred. Ability to multitask, think critically, and communicate effectively is essential. Candidates must be team players and participate in professional activities of the department. Experience with Epic electronic health record system is required.
• Additional Information: Overtime may be necessary; call is required. Floating within scope may be required; on-call 3 times per week, with 6-10 shifts in 6 weeks, including approximately one weekend per month. Holiday coverage required for one major and one minor holiday (Memorial Day, 4th of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, or Christmas).
