BOOKKEEPER - PART TIME

Role Description The Bookkeeper – Part Time - 5-10 hours per week - Quik Books qualified is an off/on‑site role located in Clifton, Tx. and is described here as a full time role for consistency with staffing needs. The position is responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, including recording daily transactions, preparing and posting journal entries, and reconciling bank and credit card accounts. The role includes assisting with the preparation of financial statements, monitoring accounts payable and receivable, and ensuring entries are coded correctly and comply with company policies. The Bookkeeper will use accounting software to update ledgers, generate routine reports, and support month‑end and year‑end closing activities. This role collaborates with management and other team members to provide timely financial information, support audits, and help maintain organized documentation for all financial operations. Qualifications Strong bookkeeping skills, including accurate data entry, ledger maintenance, and reconciliation of accounts Ability to prepare and interpret financial statements and support periodic reporting Proficiency with accounting software and basic finance concepts, including general accounting principles Experience creating and posting journal entries (accounting), with attention to detail and compliance Relevant experience in accounting, finance, or a similar role; coursework or a degree in Accounting or Finance is beneficial Excellent organizational skills, time management, and ability to manage multiple tasks on‑site Strong analytical skills, problem‑solving ability, and comfort working with numerical data Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team #J-18808-Ljbffr
