Position Summary The Value Stream Buyer/Planner owns end‑to‑end supply chain planning and procurement for an assigned value stream, balancing customer demand, production capacity and inventory to achieve operational and financial objectives. Responsibilities Monitor key supply chain metrics including inventory turns, backlog, capacity utilization and forecast accuracy. Analyze and forecast inventory needs to maintain optimal stock levels. Develop short‑ and long‑term capacity plans to support growth objectives and customer demand. Utilize ERP and planning data to identify trends, root causes and opportunities for operational excellence. Create and implement improvements to streamline supply‑chain processes and increase efficiency. Collaborate with production supervisors, engineering and logistics to ensure availability of capacity, materials and resources for planned orders. Create purchase orders for materials, components, equipment and services cost‑effectively and in a timely manner. Partner with plant leadership to identify risks and opportunities that could impact delivery performance or revenue attainment. Identify and monitor material shortages and implement corrective action to support production. Qualifications Education and Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain or a related field preferred. Three years of experience in logistics, supply chain management or a related field required. Experience with Microsoft Business Central, PowerBI and MicrosoftExcel preferred. Other Skills and Abilities: Ability to handle ambiguity; ability to multitask in a fast‑paced environment; strong analytical skills for data‑driven decision making; strong written and oral communication skills with internal and external customers; strong attention to detail and organization skills.
