Job Summary
Operating Room (OR) Specialist in Boston, Massachusetts. This role supports surgical services within the facilitys OR East area, assisting with patient care across a range of specialties with a strong focus on orthopedic cases and total joint procedures. Candidates must bring their license on the first day.

Job Details

• Schedule: Evenings (10-hour shifts) with rotating start times of 9:00 AM, 11:00 AM, or 3:00 PM, with the ability to flex to days (starting at 7:00 AM). Weekend and call coverage follows a 4-week schedule, including two short calls and two calls per weekend/weeknights per 4-week schedule. Short call occurs 2 hours after a shift. Weekend call is covered once per month from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM or 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM. Overnight weeknight call is covered once per week from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM when working days. Minimum hours per week: 40.0.
• Required Qualifications: Massachusetts license; 13 years related work experience; strong Orthopedics experience; experience with total joints; and experience supporting Gynecology (GYN) and general cases.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience in a teaching hospital and specialty area expertise.
• Additional Information: BILH coversheet is required at the time of submission. Interviews require providing available dates and times at the time of submission. All RTO requests must be presented at the time of submission. Orientation is weekly (every Monday, barring a holiday). The start date is 07/13/2026 (ASAP starts may be considered, at least 4 weeks out for compliance).
