We are looking for a motivated Manufacturing Cost Accountant to join our team onsite in Poestenkill, NY!This role is responsible for the costing & controlling function for product line at Measurement Systems. Provides monthly operational reporting package with analysis of sales, costs (Material labor & overhead including variance analysis) and profit contribution, including Inventory & work orders control and sox compliance.Responsible for the product/projects costing, costing parameters & profitabilityPreparation of monthly reporting package, gross margin reconciliations & cost variances analysisResponsible on inventory & work orders valuation, control, reserve & physical countResponsible for audits review, sox compliance & internal controlSupport management with project profitability, actual cost analysis & cost saving programRequirementsBachelor’s degree in accounting/finance, CPA/CMA nice to have7 years’ experience with costing & cost controlling and accounting background in manufacturing environment.Experience with Syspro ERP systemStrong analytical and financial modeling skills, along with budgeting, forecasting, and cost analysis to drive profitability and efficiencyAdvanced Excel skills are essential for financial modeling, data analysis, and report preparation. International travel is requiredBenefitsBase Salary: $95,000 - $105,000 per year depending on experience.
