Billing Specialist

With a team of over 300 attorneys in 15 offices, our firm is recognized for its collaborative culture, dedication to excellence, and strong advocacy for clients.We are currently seeking an experienced Electronic Billing Specialist to join our thriving team in our Palmetto Bay office. In this role, you will support attorneys by managing the electronic billing process, ensuring accurate and timely billing for a variety of legal services.The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of 3 years of experience, preferably within the legal industry; particularly in client billing. You should be detail-oriented, organized, and capable of thriving in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple tasks efficiently.Key Responsibilities:Process finalized invoices electronically, ensuring compliance and accuracy.Utilize eBillingHub to submit invoices and manage LEDES file uploads as necessary.Oversee the electronic billing lifecycle for assigned clients from invoice submission to paymentapproval, handling appeals for short-paid invoices as needed.Monitor and follow up on "ebilled" invoices to track status on vendor sites.Address rejected invoices in collaboration with Billing Specialists and attorneys to resolve issuespromptly.Communicate all relevant ebilling changes to team members, ensuring clear and timely updates.
