Job Opportunity at Johnson Memorial HospitalEmployment Type: Full timeShift: 12 Hour Night ShiftPosition Purpose:In the Emergency Department (ED) at Johnson Memorial Hospital, the Registered Nurses (RN) plays a crucial role in delivering care to emergent and critical patients.What you will do:Engaging in didactic learning sessions designed to enhance your understanding of Emergency Department (ED) nursing, with a focus on utilizing a state-of-the-art simulation lab.Applying critical thinking skills to manage high-acuity and complex patients effectively.Minimum Qualifications:Graduation from an accredited nursing schoolValid RN License in ConnecticutPreferred:Bachelor's degree in NursingOne or more years of Emergency Room nursing experienceCandidates with a minimum of one year of acute inpatient nursing experience will be considered for trainingBLS/CPR certification (American Heart Association or American Red Cross)ACLS & TNCC certification required within three months of hirePosition Highlights:Full Time - 36hrs/NightsEvery other Weekend/HolidayThis is an hourly position, included in the RN Step Program pay range: $40.20 to $61.95Ministry/Facility Information:Johnson Memorial Hospital and Home & Community Health Services provide a continuum of health care services to those living and working in north central Connecticut and western Massachusetts.
