$19–$24/hr | 1st Shift | Monday–Friday | Mansfield, OH

Job Details

Position: MIG Welder / Fabricator
Location: Mansfield, OH
May occasionally support the Smithville, OH facility as needed
Pay: $19–$24 per hour , based on experience
Shift: 1st Shift

Standard Schedule:
Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM–2:30 PM

Overtime may be available or required based on production needs.

When overtime is scheduled, hours may include:

• Monday–Thursday, 7:00 AM–4:30 PM

• Friday, 6:00 AM–2:30 PM

• Saturday, 6:00 AM–12:00 PM

Candidates should be comfortable working 8-hour, 10-hour, and occasional 12-hour shifts when needed.

What You'll Be Doing

As a MIG Welder / Fabricator, you’ll be involved in the full fabrication process, from reading blueprints and measuring material to welding, assembling, and inspecting finished products.

Your day may include:

• Performing GMAW/MIG welding on metal components and assemblies

• Fabricating and manufacturing finished metal products

• Installing, assembling, and repairing components and equipment

• Reading and following blueprints, schematics, and product specifications

• Measuring and verifying material dimensions before fabrication

• Cutting, fitting, positioning, and preparing materials for welding

• Using welding equipment, fabrication tools, and shop machinery

• Inspecting completed welds for strength, accuracy, and quality

• Checking dimensions and tolerances against specifications

• Making adjustments or rework when needed

• Maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work area

• Following established safety and quality procedures

What We're Looking For

This could be a strong fit if you have:

• 3+ years of fabrication experience

• Strong hands-on MIG/GMAW welding skills

• Previous welding, fabrication, manufacturing, or related industrial experience

• Ability to read and understand blueprints and schematics

• Experience using welding and fabrication tools and equipment

• Ability to measure material accurately and verify specifications

• Strong mechanical aptitude

• Good attention to detail and weld quality

• Ability to handle a physically active workload

• Availability to work overtime when required

TIG/GTAW welding experience is a plus but not required.

Candidates must also have steel-toe or composite-toe footwear for onsite interviews and work.
