Automation Engineer

We are looking for a Senior Automation Engineer with 5+ years of experience leading and executing complex automation projects across multiple control platforms. This individual will act as a technical lead supporting system architecture, implementation, and lifecycle support.Check you match the skill requirements for this role, as well as associated experience, then apply with your CV below.Key Responsibilities:· Lead automation system design and architecture decisions· Develop and review PLC, DCS, HMI, and SCADA code· Provide technical leadership during commissioning, startup, and qualification· Troubleshoot complex automation and integration issues· Support lifecycle management, upgrades, and continuous improvement initiatives· Mentor junior automation engineersRequired Qualifications:· 5+ years of experience in industrial or pharma automation· Strong hands-on experience with PLC platforms (Allen-Bradley/Rockwell, Siemens, etc.)· Deep understanding xhyhwjd of GMP/GxP compliance and regulated systems· Experience with FAT/SAT, commissioning, and validation supportPreferred Skills:· MES or historian integration experience· Batch control and ISA-88 standards· Experience working with system integrators and EPC firms Horizon Controls Group
