HAHS Kitty Angels & TLC Volunteers

When you volunteer as a Kitty Angel or TLC volunteer, you will spend your time caring for our cats and kittens during their stay at PetSmart Overland Park's (115th and Metcalf) Kitty Hotel as they wait for their forever home.
There are 2 shifts daily for our volunteers to fill, with opportunities to help with auxiliary work, such as laundry and organization.
TLC volunteers are responsible for helping socialize the kitties by playing with them outside of their kennel, petting them, brushing them, general pampering and morning feeding if requested by their foster parent. The TLC shifts are the AM shifts.
Pet Angel volunteers during the PM shift primarily clean and tidy the cat condos, change their litter in their litter boxes, freshen their dry food and water, give canned food, and communicate any needs to respective foster parents.
Pet Angel and TLC volunteers are critical members of Heart of America Humane Society, and can have significant impact on kitties adjusting to a new life.
We request that volunteers be 18 years or older.
If under 18, must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
