Job Description

As a Security Officer Patrol Unit in Dudley, NC , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed officer at a busy food and beverage location, where you will conduct routine patrols, stay visible to help reduce security-related concerns, and support employees and visitors with outstanding customer service and communication. In this role, you will reflect our agile, reliable, and innovative approach, while working with a caring team that puts people first and acts with integrity every day.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to a food processing location.
• Respond to incidents, operational concerns, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while documenting relevant details and communicating with site contacts as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout production areas, access points, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor entrances and exits, verify visitor and delivery activity, and report policy violations, maintenance concerns, and/or suspicious behavior to the appropriate personnel.
• Support access control and traffic flow for employees, contractors, and transport drivers while following post orders and established site protocols.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
