Summary Serves as a member of the Cardiovascular and Interventional Services Team assisting in the performance of diagnostic and invasive procedures. Independently functions during diagnostic and interventions with minimal supervision. Position Description: Cardiac Cath Lab Tech The Cardiovascular Interventional Tech serves as a member of the Cardiovascular and Interventional Services Team assisting in the performance of diagnostic and invasive procedures. Responsibilities Scrubbing in for Procedures (Cardiac Caths and Pacemaker Implants) Using Hemodynamic System to Monitor Patient and Document Procedure On Call for Emergent Procedures Minimum Qualifications (May Qualify 1 Of 5 Ways) Technical or Associates in Radiology + ARRT (Radiologic Technologist) + 1 year experience in Cath Lab, Interventional Radiology or Electrophysiology OR Associates in Respiratory + RRT (Respiratory Therapy), Active NBRC Credential for RRT + 1 year experience in Cath Lab, Interventional Radiology or Electrophysiology OR Graduate of Cardiovascular Technology (CVT) Program/Degree and No Experience OR 3 years of Cath Lab, Interventional Radiology or Electrophysiology in lieu of education OR RCIS and/or RCES and 1 year of experience in Cath Lab, Interventional Radiology or Electrophysiology in lieu of education Required Active BLS & ACLS certification (accepted from American Heart Association) Facility BayCare Health System, Cardiac Cath Lab-WHH Location Winter Haven Status Full Time, Exempt: No Shift Hours 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM Shift Shift 1 Weekend Work Occasional On Call Yes Remotely Never Equal Opportunity Employer Veterans/Disabled #J-18808-Ljbffr
