Embedded Systems Engineer As an embedded systems engineer, you will develop technology for our clients’ mission‑forward challenges, supporting the creation, testing, and maintenance of embedded software that bridges communication between devices and systems. Responsibilities Develop, write, test, and maintain embedded software in C/C++, Python, and other languages. Implement low‑level functionality such as interrupt handlers, device drivers, peripheral control, and Flash memory access. Reverse engineer existing firmware to support hardware functionality across a variety of devices. Collaborate with team leadership to analyze client requirements and translate them into deliverables with minimal supervision. Troubleshoot and resolve operational issues; work with cybersecurity specialists to secure software. Configure solutions for the platform being used and conduct bench‑ and system‑level testing of components. Qualifications 3+ years’ experience in software development and embedded systems. Proficiency in C/C++ and Python; experience with low‑level development. Experience with interrupt handlers, device drivers, peripheral control, and Flash memory access. Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to manage multiple tasks. Ability to analyze client requirements and deliver results with little supervision. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field. Clearance: Requires ability to obtain a Secret clearance. Preferred Experience 5+ years across varying computer architecture and operating systems. Experience with Raspberry Pi, IoT devices, and digital/analog control systems. Knowledge of power electronics, EMI, and RF technologies. Experience with signal generation, RF systems, and system integration. Familiarity with Docker containers and CI/CD pipelines. Compensation Typical salary range: $62,000.00 to $141,000.00 annually, based on experience, location, and other factors.
