Life/Health Insurance Position - State Farm Agent Team Member

Life & Health Insurance Sales

We're building a team of caring professionals who help individuals and families protect what matters most. If you're the kind of person who can turn complicated information into clear guidanceand you genuinely enjoy helping othersthis role is for you.

As a Life & Health sales team member, you'll combine sales expertise with empathy. You'll meet with customers, understand their needs, recommend the right life and health insurance solutions, and stay involved after the policy is in placeespecially when customers need help most.

What you'll do:

Build relationships with new and existing customerslistening first, recommending second
Conduct needs analysis to identify the best life and health insurance options for each customer's situation
Explain coverage clearly, including benefits, exclusions, and what to expectso customers feel confident
Support policyholders beyond the sale, including help with claims and policy updates and changes
Stay current on industry trends, regulatory changes, and new products
Maintain accurate records and use agency software effectively
Ensure compliance with state and federal requirements at all times

What we're looking for:

Active state license for life and health insurance
Strong communication and interpersonal skillsyou can connect with people and earn trust
Ability to break down complex insurance topics in a way that's easy to understand
Sales experience is preferred (insurance experience a plus, but not the only pathif you've helped customers solve problems, that counts)
Detail-oriented and organized, with a strong ability to manage your book of business
Proven capability to build and maintain ongoing customer relationships
Comfort working with insurance agency software
