Per Diem Home Health Nurse Practitioner (NP) - Saint Charles, MO

Deliver essential healthcare insights as a Nurse Practitioner specializing in home health assessments. This per diem role focuses on conducting thorough risk evaluations for Medicare Advantage members in various communities throughout St. Louis County, including Florissant, Chesterfield, and Wildwood. The position offers remarkable flexibility, enabling you to tailor your working hours to best suit your lifestyle. Schedule Flexible shifts available Monday through Sunday Design your own weekly or bi-weekly schedule Set your preferred hourly commitment Key Responsibilities Complete home health risk assessments (approximately 45 minutes each) for Medicare Advantage members Review, document, and assess current and previous medical history, including conditions and medication usage Provide comprehensive education to patients on health conditions and prescriptions Identify potential gaps in care and recommend appropriate follow-ups or resources No requirement to prescribe medications or develop new treatment plans Qualifications Active Nurse Practitioner license in Missouri Current CPR certification (BLS) Board certification through AANP or ANCC Minimum of 6 months of recent experience as a Nurse Practitioner preferred Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) from an accredited institution This position offers a compensation of $80-$90 per completed assessment, with an additional stipend for mileage and administrative activities.
