Community Health Nurse II 10Month Position School Environment

Position Overview:
We are seeking qualified and dedicated nursing professionals to join our team as a Community Health Nurse II . This role is responsible for assessing, planning, and evaluating patient care in a variety of settings, including clinics, homes, schools, and community environments.

This position operates under moderate supervision and follows a standard work schedule. Candidates should be prepared to work in environments where they may encounter a range of health conditions and community-based challenges.

Minimum Qualifications

Education & Experience (One of the following):

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing and two (2) years of experience as a Registered Nurse
  OR

• Associate degree in Nursing and four (4) years of clinical nursing experience

Licensure:

• Must hold a current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Maryland or a Multi-State Licensure Compact license

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

• Strong understanding of nursing practices, procedures, and professional standards
• Knowledge of community health resources and services
• Ability to plan, implement, and evaluate community health programs
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to build and maintain effective working relationships
• Organizational and administrative capabilities

Additional Requirements

• Candidates may be required to successfully complete a criminal background check and/or fingerprinting
• Selected candidates must complete a six-month probationary period
• Education must be obtained from an accredited institution (international degrees must be evaluated for U.S. equivalency)
