Provide registered nursing care on the 24-bed Medical/Surgical Cardiac Unit Care for patients on telemetry monitoring Assess patients to determine the next step in their care, including cardiac catheterization, transfer for heart surgery, stress testing, or echocardiography Work the third shift (nights) at Sentara Careplex Hospital Support care delivery in a Certified Primary Stroke Center and technologically advanced acute care facility Requirements Associates, Bachelors, Masters, or diploma in the Nursing Field required Virginia or Compact Multi-State License in good standing Basic Life Support (BLS) NIH stroke scale Two or more years of current acute care hospital RN experience Night shift availability 14-week travel assignment Core Competencies Demonstrates expertise in providing registered nursing care in a Medical/Surgical Cardiac Unit, with a focus on telemetry monitoring and patient assessment for advanced cardiac procedures.
