Candidates with strong blueprint reading skills and experience with welding and fabrication equipment are encouraged to apply.Job SummaryThe Welder/Fabricator will be responsible for reading blueprints, fabricating metal components, and performing high-quality welds to support production operations. This individual will work closely with team members to ensure products meet quality standards and production schedules.ResponsibilitiesPerform MIG and/or TIG welding on carbon steel, stainless steel, and other metals.Interpret blueprints, drawings, and work instructions.Lay out, fit, and fabricate metal components according to specifications.Operate fabrication equipment including saws, grinders, presses, and cutting tools.Inspect completed welds and fabricated parts for quality and accuracy.Measure and verify dimensions using tape measures, calipers, and other precision tools.Maintain a safe and organized work area.Follow all company safety and quality standards.QualificationsRequired:2+ years of welding and fabrication experience in a manufacturing environment.Experience reading and interpreting blueprints and fabrication drawings.Ability to use measuring tools and perform accurate layout work.Proficiency with MIG welding; TIG welding experience is a plus.Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.Preferred:Experience fabricating structural steel, industrial equipment, or custom metal products.Welding certifications.Experience with stainless steel and aluminum fabrication.What's OfferedCompetitive pay ranging from $20-$28/hour, depending on experience.Opportunities for overtime.Stable, long-term employment with a growing manufacturer.Career growth and advancement opportunities.Comprehensive benefits package available.If you are a hands-on welder/fabricator looking for a long-term opportunity with a reputable manufacturing company in Southern West Virginia, we encourage you to apply today.This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Beaver, WV.The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $28.00/hr.Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
