Position: Sheet Metal Fabricator

The Sheet Metal Fabricator is responsible for safely setting up and operating both CNC and manual sheet-metal equipment to produce precision-built components. This position requires mechanical aptitude, strong attention to detail, and the ability to meet quality and productivity expectations in a fast-paced environment.

Core Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC press brakes as well as CNC laser equipment

• Run manual sheet-metal machinery

• Perform cutting and shaping of raw metal into finished components

• Use measurement tools and equipment to ensure accuracy within print tolerances

• Minimize scrap and quality notifications through consistent workmanship

• Complete frequent changeovers, troubleshooting, and machine adjustments

• Effectively perform at least two fabrication processes within the department

• Assist other operators with understanding quality standards

• Support positive change and continuous improvement efforts on the production floor

Required Education & Experience

• High school diploma or GED

• Sheet-metal fabrication experience preferred

• Previous press-brake operating experience preferred

• Vocational or technical sheet-metal training preferred

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand for 90% of the shift

• Frequent bending, twisting, squatting, and reaching

• Ability to lift up to 45 lbs (average part weight 5-15 lbs)

• Strong manual dexterity

Shifts & Hours

2nd Shift:

3:00 PM - 1:00 AM , Monday-Thursday

Pay Rate

$20.96 - $24.47 per hour + Shift Differential , depending on experience

Pay Details: $20.96 to $25.77 per hour
