Data Product Manager - Data & Technology / Retail Operations

The ideal candidate will have a strong technical foundation combined with experience delivering data products, technology solutions, and large-scale transformation initiatives for retail, customer-facing, or operationally intensive organizations.

This role requires an individual who can take ownership, bring structure to ambiguous problems, communicate effectively with executives and technical teams, and drive execution across multiple stakeholders, systems, and dependencies.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead complex, large-scale data and technology programs supporting retail stores and frontline operations.
• Drive initiatives across multiple teams, systems, technologies, and organizational dependencies.
• Partner with business and technology stakeholders to define objectives, priorities, roadmaps, milestones, and execution plans.
• Translate complex technical and business requirements into clear program strategies and actionable plans.
• Manage program risks, dependencies, issues, timelines, and cross-functional deliverables.
• Establish structure and clarity in ambiguous or evolving initiatives and maintain execution momentum.
• Communicate program status, risks, decisions, and outcomes effectively to executive leadership, technical teams, and business stakeholders .
• Drive alignment across product, engineering, data, analytics, operations, and business teams.
• Own end-to-end execution of strategic data and technology initiatives.
• Quickly learn new business domains, technical concepts, systems, and organizational processes and apply that knowledge to program execution.
• Operate effectively in high-pressure environments while demonstrating sound judgment and strong ownership.

Required Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Technical Program Manager, Data Program Manager, Data Product Manager, or similar senior technology leadership role .
• Experience delivering data or technology solutions for frontline business units , particularly:
  • Retail
  • Customer Care
  • Store Operations
  • Field Operations
  • Supply Chain
  • Other operationally intensive environments
• Proven experience managing complex, large-scale data or technology initiatives involving multiple stakeholders, systems, and dependencies.
• Strong understanding of technology and data concepts with the ability to work effectively with engineering and data teams.
• Excellent executive communication and presentation skills .
• Ability to communicate effectively with senior executives, technical teams, and business stakeholders.
• Demonstrated ability to operate effectively in ambiguous and rapidly changing environments .
• Strong problem-solving, decision-making, prioritization, and stakeholder-management skills.
• High learning agility with the ability to quickly understand new business and technical domains.
• Strong ownership mindset with a track record of driving initiatives from strategy through execution.
