Interacts with donors and coordinators, providing a high level of customer service to deliver an excellent donation experience. Takes pride in and is committed to delivering high quality services. Works cooperatively and is a supportive member of the team/group. Contributes positively to the achievement of team objectives. Responsible for operating the mobile drive vehicle, loading and unloading supplies and transporting the mobile staff in a safe and efficient manner. The Specialist, Donor Driver plays an essential role in promoting and maintaining a collaborative and respectful team culture and contributes to a strong and engaging employee experience. Full-time regular employes are eligible for Medical, Dental, and Vision Plans, Paid Time Off (PTO) and Holidays, Short- and Long-term disability, life insurance, 7% match dollar for dollar 401(k), voluntary programs, discount programs, others.ResponsibilitiesFollows all DOT guidelines when operating full-size commercial van/Promaster, and safely transports staff, supplies, and equipment.Loads/unloads supplies and performs set up at the mobile site, including technology systems and quality control.Performs donor screening (collects donor histories), mini-physical, and phlebotomy.Treats donors with customer service excellence, presenting a positive image. Responds to customer inquiries, requests, and complaints with a timely and complete response and escalates to leader when appropriate. Provides a service-centric donor experience by interacting with donors respectfully, compassionately, and professionally.May conduct automation (Alyx and/or Trima), including recognizing and responding to automation reactions. Recruits and converts donors for automation.Contributes to and upholds a positive team culture and employee experience by fostering teamwork, collaborating effectively, maintaining an encouraging environment, and by supporting coworkers through kind and respectful behaviors.Maintains product integrity and ensures proper identification of all donors, performs routine maintenance on equipment, and completes department records as needed.
