C# Developer with Actuarial experience

Feel free to check us out at Job Description Title : C# Developer Location : Newark, NJ Contract : 3 to 6 month with possible extensions Job Description Design implementation of classes and methods in C# according to provided specifications and guidance. Research functionality and implementation details from business requirements and existing C++ model. Write clear and maintainable C# code and software documentation. Design test plans and unit test the code. Provide accurate and insightful model validation. Be an active participant in company’s actuarial community. Qualifications Bachelor Degree in a quantitative or financial field such as Actuarial Science, Finance, Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, etc. Strong programming skills including C++, C# are required. 1-2 years of actuarial experience (financial modeling, product development, pricing, valuation, GAAP/Stat reporting, asset-adequacy testing, asset/investment/hedging/risk modeling, etc) Society of Actuaries Exams P, FM and MLC Preferred; Good technical skills and ability to understand complex quantitative concepts and models. Good communication skills, particularly in presenting results to audience of diversified backgrounds. Highly motivated and ability to thrive in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment with high quality standards.
