Product Manager

Our client is a U.S. manufacturer of thermostats, switches, and custom industrial controls, providing reliable, American-made components for OEMs across HVAC, food equipment, medical, agriculture, and industrial markets. Location: Eau Claire, WI Hybrid Potential after Onboarding but must reside locally. Job Description: Our client is seeking a Product Manager to lead an established but growing product line focused on bimetal and stamped components. This role blends product management, customer relationship management, operational coordination, project oversight, and business development. The Product Manager will serve as the primary owner of the product line, partnering with production, quality, purchasing, operations, sales, marketing, and customer service. They will maintain and grow customer relationships, drive new business opportunities, resolve operational and quality issues, and ensure the product line integrates smoothly into broader organizational processes. This is a hands-on role suited for someone who enjoys working at the intersection of manufacturing, customers, and commercial growth, and is comfortable moving between the production floor, internal teams, and customer-fac­ing opportunities. Responsibilities: Customer communication - Manage customer requests, communications, and ongoing relationship needs. Product-line oversight - Monitor priorities, projects, orders, and operational issues across the product line. Cross-functional coordination - Participate in production and internal meetings while ensuring clear communication between customers and internal teams. Quality and issue resolution - Manage RMAs, quality concerns, delivery issues, and other escalations. KPI tracking - Track product-line KPIs and identify areas requiring corrective action. New business development - Qualify new opportunities and support initiatives that grow the product line. CRM management - Maintain accurate information within CRM and internal systems. Base salary: $60k - $70k+, depending on experience Variable compensation: Revenue-growth bonus opportunities are available.
