As an Access Control Officer at a logistics and distribution location, you will help manage entry and exit activity, verify credentials, monitor access points, and support a welcoming, professional environment. This driving post requires a valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $18.47 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeSat06:00 AM - 02:00 PMSun06:00 AM - 02:00 PM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a freight transportation and distribution location. Monitor access points, verify credentials, and control entry and exit of employees, visitors, drivers, and vendors in accordance with site procedures. Maintain accurate visitor, vehicle, and delivery records and communicate access concerns or unusual activity to appropriate site contacts. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established emergency and escalation procedures. Conduct regular and random patrols of access areas, loading docks, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity. Minimum Requirements: A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
