Estimator
Our client is looking for a full time Estimator to work in the Commercial Fence Division to increase the output of bids across the state of Florida. The Estimator will be responsible for bidding large commercial/industrial perimeter security projects around the state of Florida. This individual will be trained and work hand in hand with the Management & Operations Team.
Qualifications:
- Associate and/or Bachelor's degree is preferred
- Estimating experience in commercial and/or industrial construction projects
- Proficient in Microsoft Office programs. Utilizing a smart phone, and can learn and utilize Smith Fence software systems
- Estimating programs for take offs and reading blue prints like, Blue Beam, Procore (auto cad is a plus)
- Familiar with searching through bid board sites to vet potential projects (i.e. Dodge Report, Building Connected, Demand Star, OpenGov. etc.)
- Ability to interpret construction plans and specifications
- High attention to detail and organizational skills
- Familiar with change orders, shop drawings and submittals process
- Outstanding and professional oral, written communication, and interpersonal skills
- Strong analytical skills and is detail oriented
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
- What is most important is a hard-working individual, who possesses leadership attributes, and is trainable!
