Desired Skills and Experience:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
• Valid state licensure (or eligibility) as an SLP
• Prior experience with pediatric populations in early childhood or elementary settings
• Comfortable managing a range of communication disorders, from moderate to profound needs
• Strong interpersonal abilities; collaborative spirit with staff, students, and families
• Effective organization and adaptability in dynamic school settings

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations for students with speech and language concerns
• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) based on identified student needs
• Deliver direct therapy services to a diverse caseload in K–12, adapting methods as necessary
• Consult with teachers, support staff, and families to foster communication best practices in classrooms and at home
• Maintain accurate documentation and compliance with school policies and special education guidelines
• Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate on multidisciplinary teams
