Job Title: HVAC Installer / Installation Rockstar

Company Overview Buckle up—King Heating, Cooling & Plumbing isn't just another HVAC company; we're Chicagoland's fastest-growing legend since 1968! Family-owned, fiercely independent, and voted #1 in the area (with thousands of 5-star raves and a 100% satisfaction guarantee), we dominate Chicago, the suburbs, Northwest Indiana, and beyond with 24/7 hero-level service. We're talking epic installations that turn homes and businesses into comfort zones, partnerships like St. Jude Children's Research Hospital (we've raised over $100K fighting childhood cancer!), and a team that's more like a high-performance crew than coworkers. If you love hands-on action, crushing goals, and being part of something bigger, this is your launchpad.

Job Summary Ready to level up your career? We're hunting for experienced HVAC Installers who thrive on the rush of transforming spaces—one high-efficiency system at a time. You'll lead full installs (residential to light commercial beasts up to 100 tons), own the job from blueprint to completed walkthrough, and leave every customer saying "Wow!" This isn't routine work—it's high-energy, high-reward action with overtime galore, and endless chances to shine in a company exploding with growth. Join us and build a career that's fun, financially rewarding, and seriously satisfying.

Key Responsibilities (The Thrilling Part!)

• Dive in and install killer HVAC systems—furnaces, AC units, coils, ductwork, smart thermostats, humidifiers, air purifiers, and more—like a pro artist crafting comfort masterpieces.
• Decode blueprints and schematics like a boss to nail code-perfect, energy-efficient installs every time.
• Fabricate ductwork, hook up refrigerant lines and wiring, then fire it up for epic testing, leak hunts, and startup magic.
• Hunt for upgrades that save customers money and blow their minds with efficiency.
• Keep sites spotless, tools dialed, and safety locked in—because legends don't cut corners.
• Deliver next-level customer experiences: explain the tech in plain English, answer questions like a pro, and high-five when they're thrilled.
• Team up with your crew for on-time, on-budget wins—document the glory and celebrate the victories.
• Live the King way: integrity, hustle, and always doing it right (with a smile!).

Required Qualifications (What Makes You a Fit for the Fun)

• High school diploma or GED—check!
• Valid EPA Section 608 certification (Universal? You're golden!).
• 5+ years crushing HVAC installs (residential/light commercial—bring your stories!).
• Deep know-how on equipment, electrical, refrigeration, ducts, and codes.
• Blueprint-reading superpower.
• Clean Illinois driver's license.
• Ready to lift 50+ lbs, conquer attics/crawl spaces, climb like a champ, and tackle any weather.
• Honest, hardworking, pumped for overtime/on-call, and all about that team energy.

Preferred Qualifications (Bonus Points for Extra Awesomeness)

• Trade school, apprenticeship, or NATE certs.
• Experience with top brands (we're Carrier Factory Authorized!).
• Skills in ductless mini-splits, boilers, smart home integrations, or high-efficiency wizardry.
• Killer communication and a genuine love for making people happy.

What We Offer (The Reasons This Is Your Career Destination)

• Killer pay based on experience (experience rules) + massive overtime to stack that cash.
• Epic perks: Health/dental/vision insurance, paid vacation/holidays, 401k with company match (after year 1), cell phone, tool purchase program and continuing education (we invest in YOU).
• Company vehicle provided for work, fuel card, uniforms—roll up looking sharp.
• 24/7 action with tons of work, plus fast-track growth to lead installer, supervisor, specialist, or beyond in our skyrocketing company.
• A fun, family-like culture: hard work meets real support, community impact (St. Jude pride!), team wins, and the thrill of being part of Chicagoland's #1 crew. No corporate BS—just honest hustle, respect, and shared success in a place where your skills build a legacy.

This is more than a job—it's your ticket to an exciting, rewarding career where you make a difference daily, grow fast, earn big, and have a blast doing it. If you're ready to join Chicagoland's fastest-growing HVAC powerhouse and become a King legend, let's go !
