The Job
Performance Education & Resource Centers (PERC) is recruiting for Training and Development Specialists who will plan, coordinate, assess and deliver a wide variety of training programs. Training and Development Specialists provide advanced level educational, facilitation, and staff development services including the delivery of college-accredited courses. Education: Master's degree or higher-level graduate degree in English, Education, Business/Public Administration, Communication, Organizational Development, Computer Science, Social/Behavioral Science, or a closely related field.

Experience: One (1) year of full-time equivalent experience (within the last five (5) years) as a professional trainer or educator.
Option 2:
Education: Bachelor's degree in English, Education, Business/Public Administration, Communication, Organizational Development, Computer Science, Social/Behavioral Science, or a closely related field. -AND-
Experience: Two (2) years of full-time equivalent experience (within the last five (5) years) as a professional trainer or educator.
Option 3: Education: Thirty (30) semester (45 quarter) units of completed college coursework from an accredited institution in English, Education, Business/Public Administration, Communication, Organizational Development, Computer Science, Social/Behavioral Science, or a closely related field. Important Notes:
The ideal candidate will have extensive professional-level experience developing curriculum and conducting in-person trainings. Skilled experience with virtual learning platforms such as MS Teams, Adobe Connect, and other virtual facilitation methods is also highly desirable.
