Exciting Opportunity at MSK: We are seeking a Radiologist Assistant for our Interventional Radiology team at our main hospital campus in New York City. Role Overview: In a collaborative and multidisciplinary/modality environment, support the Attending Radiologist and fellows in the provision of patient care in the procedure room, clinic and on the patient floors. Assist with the education of technologists, Radiologist Assistant students, and residents. Obtain and review patient clinical history prior to any procedure. Obtain and document informed consent for procedures the RA is credentialed to perform. Perform procedures, including appropriate administration of contrast material when indicated, in accordance with credentials. Assist the attending Radiologist with procedures as requested. Acquire relevant images to adequately document the procedure performed. Post‑procedure, enter into the medical record appropriate documentation of the procedure performed, enter appropriate post‑procedure orders, and prepare preliminary reports of procedures performed, including preliminary dictations with appropriate codes. Obtain and evaluate vital signs, perform a limited physical examination as appropriate, and report findings to a collaborating Radiologist. Act as a liaison between referring services and Radiologists and arrange appropriate follow‑up based on clinical findings. Review imaging studies and pertinent patient history to triage incoming referrals to the department. Key Qualifications: Completion of an accredited RA program with an MS in Health Science. ARRT certification as a Registered Radiologist Assistant. New York State Department of Health licensure (Radiologic Technologist and Specialist Assistant license required). BLS/ACLS certification. Additional Information: Location: Main Hospital, 1275 York Avenue in Manhattan, NYC. Reporting to the Manager, Radiologist Assistant. Schedule: 8 am – 6 pm, Monday‑Friday (4 days). Benefits and Compensation: $20,000 bonus available for new Radiologist Assistant hires. Pay Range: $136,400.00 – $225,100.00. FSLA Status: Exempt.
