Senior Accountant

SUMMARY/OBJECTIVE

The senior accountant will handle all accounting operations and verify financial records and transactions. They will utilize hands-on accounting experience and have an in-depth understanding of accounting principles.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

1. Reconciliation of balance sheet accounts
2. Reconcile inter-company accounts
3. GL Account analysis
4. Prepare general journal entries
5. Daily cash reporting
6. Assist with the month-end closing process
7. Assist with special projects as needed

QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS

1. Bachelor’s degree in accounting
2. 10 plus years of CPG experience manufacturing a plus
3. Advanced Microsoft Excel skills required, experience with SAP a plus
4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
5. Strong organizational and analytical skills
6. Willingness to establish and maintain effective working relationships
