BG Staffing is seeking an Assistant Property Manager to oversee daily operations at a property in Chesapeake, VA 23320 . This is a contract-to-hire opportunity with immediate start for the right candidate.

Position Details

Role: Assistant Property Manager
Location: Chesapeake, VA 23320
Pay: $20/hr.
Schedule: Monday, Wednesday, Friday, 8AM-4:30PM
Start Date: ASAP
Opportunity Type: Contract

Responsibilities

Assist with day-to-day operations of an affordable housing property
Help manage leasing activities, including applications, move-ins, and recertifications
Maintain accurate and organized resident files and documentation
Assist with rent collections and follow-ups on delinquencies
Respond to resident inquiries and provide excellent customer service
Coordinate with maintenance team to ensure timely completion of work orders
Support property manager with reporting and administrative tasks

Qualifications

Previous property management or leasing experience required
Strong organizational and administrative skills
Excellent communication and customer service abilities
Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
Experience with property management software is a plus
