As an Unarmed Security Officer supporting a dynamic aerospace and defense location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, help to deter incidents, and support access control activities. You will maintain a professional presence, communicate with employees and visitors, and provide exceptional customer service. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $23.62 / Hour Job Schedule DayTimeSat06:00 PM - 06:00 AMSun06:00 PM - 06:00 AM What You'll Do Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location. Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation procedures. Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, restricted areas, parking areas, and the perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity. Monitor access points and verify authorized entry in accordance with site access-control requirements. Document patrol activities, incidents, and observed irregularities in clear, accurate reports and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal supervision and site contacts. Minimum Requirements Have at least one year of security-related experience. Possess an active DoD Secret Clearance. Access control and badge experience is preferred. Customer service experience is preferred. Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
