Inventory Technician

Job TitleJob TitleJob DescriptionDescription Expertise and FunctionsVerify shipment details, assist with packaging items, move items to storage areas, inspect the quality of items for shipment, and elevate defective products to management for actionReceive, store, and track shipments of goods and materials, perform data entry in inventory management software, and maintain accurate inventory recordsMaintain inventory items in warehouse, operate pallet jacks, powered lifts, forklifts, and general warehouse tools and equipmentPerform inventory picks of parts and materials for orders and ensure the correct quantity, quality, and traceability of all itemsUtilize hand tools and appropriate materials to open and seal crates, boxes, and other containersPerform cycle counts of inventory on monthly, quarterly and annual basis, or as required by managementMaintain 5S - Safe and Clean work environmentContribute to a productive, safe, and fun cultureAssist with resolution of warehouse and inventory-related issuesReport to work on time and maintain an excellent attendance recordOther duties as assignedRequirements Education/TrainingHigh School diploma requiredAssociate's Degree in management or technical/scientific discipline desiredExperience2+ years of professional experience in the required task areaExperience with Microsoft Office products to include Word, Excel, and Outlook, and ability to learn and operate inventory management softwareStrong organization skills and attention to detail requiredAbility to work both independently and as part of a teamSecurityMust be a US citizenAbility to obtain a security clearance may be requiredPhysical RequirementsAble to assess, install, and modify equipment, and inspect machineryAble to climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, grasp and reach with hands and arms, handle and operate hand/power tools and machine controlsPerform frequent wrist, hand, and finger movementsProlonged periods of standing while operating machineryAdhere to all safety protocols, including wearing appropriate safety gear (e.g., eyewear, gloves, masks, hearing protection, etc.) for the assigned taskAble to safely lift and carry up to 50 pounds at a timeBenefitsHealth Care Plan (Medical, Dental & Vision)Retirement Plan (401k, IRA)Life Insurance (Basic, Voluntary & AD&D)Paid Time Off (Vacation, Sick & Public Holidays)Short Term & Long Term DisabilityTraining & DevelopmentWellness ResourcesSalaryThe projected salary range for this position is $22$28/hr.
